Students from all over Ontario enrolled in public schools (eg. Elementary/High school) are being deprived of monumental times in our lives as a direct result of the teacher union strike. As of Monday December 10th students throughout all of Ontario will be stripped of the after school curricular activities, such a sports, clubs, and teams, an essential part of the educational experience. This petition is to get the word out to the public that the students are not willing to be used as pawns for a issue that has no direct involvement with students from the start. We as student bodies throughout Ontario must take a stand and fight for what we believe in. OUR VOICE MUST BE HEARD.
