My name is Tyler and I'm from a small town in Virginia and I would like to take this time to tell you a little something about Marijuana and its many uses.
1. It has various medical uses.
2. The growing of marijuana would help the economy by not only taxing it, but by using the hemp to increase our resources and not have to use as many trees in the process.
3. One more reason is because it has no harmful effects on your body. The only known medical thing that you can contract from smoking marijuana is bronchitis. And to our known knowledge, this is NOT something that is going to kill you. There are 100,000 alcohol-related deaths per year, but not yet one that is "marijuana-related".
And these are just a few of the reasons why it should be legalized in Virginia. My point of this is not to legalize it for stoners, drug addicts, or pot heads, but to legalize it for our economy and to help the growth of this country!
I have sever depression, anxiety, and bipolar, I have tried almost every medication there is but, I have never felt any difference, however I have tried smoking and it makes a huge difference, I actually feel happy and relaxed, when typically with antidepressants and mood stabilizers I feel like there's only a filter so I appear fine, while still feel the depression. It would be so helpful to myself as well as my brother with depression and many of my friends with depression and anxiety.

I agree with the writer 100℅ , let's balance state and local governments, and enjoy doing it. Police officer for 10 years never had to fight one person that had smoked marijuana. Alcohol different story. Let's get it done.
