The city finally approved the plans for our new dog park. I am honestly stunned that this worked out, but this victory belongs entirely to the 223 of you who signed on and pushed for change.

I truly never imagined we would see this kind of momentum when I first started this. It is clear this is something our neighborhood really needs and I am just humbled to see how many people feel the same way.

it makes no sense that sw is left out. let’s get this done.
My golden retriever has way too much energy and the local sidewalks arent cutting it. we really need a fenced in area.
YES PLEASE. walking my dog on a leash 24/7 is getting old, he needs space to run around and meet other neighbor dogs.
SW is growing so fast, the city needs to keep up and provide amenities for those of us living here with pets. stop ignoring us!!
Finally! We have so many dogs in SW and nowhere to go without driving across town. This is long overdue.

so tired of having to drive to navy yard just to let my pup burn off some steam. put one in our neighborhood!
