This petition will be circulated to the Stanford University administration along with a detailed proposal for ceramics studio space: We, the undersigned Stanford students, believe that an on-campus ceramics studio would have tremendous value to the university. Stanford\'s outstanding student artists deserve facilities to match their talents. A ceramics studio would serve as a community center, an attraction for the campus, and an enabler of learning and artistic expression. The primary obstacle to creating such a studio is a lack of space. If space is set aside for ceramics, the Ceramics at Stanford club will be able to transform it into a working studio. We respectfully request that the university invest resources in finding or creating such a space.
