The petition

We, the undersigned want The Jersey Journal to survive. This 140-year-old publication is the only daily newspaper covering Jersey City, New Jersey's second largest city, and the county seat of Hudson County. This paper survived the Great Depression. Let's not let it die now, especially in a year when a tight Jersey City mayoral election race is heating up.

We want to express our support for The Jersey Journal and hope the The Evening Journal Association will consider measures to preserve this important Jersey City institution.
