The Palms Neighborhood Council will vote on October 2, 2013 to remove this ficus tree. The thoughts are that the tree is causing broken sidewalks and not enough room for people to maneuver more than one person at a time. This tree is the most beautiful creature on the block. This tree gives people a sense of harmony. Ficus trees help reduce noise and air pollution. Considering that we live so close to the freeway, this is a huge factor. SAVE THIS TREE!!
