The prospect of watching our theater turn into a hotel remains heavy on my mind. I am currently spending my evenings digging through public records to challenge the narrative they keep pushing at city hall. It is exhausting work but the history of this space is worth keeping alive.

Seeing this kind of movement is overwhelming after so many months of feeling like we were shouting into the void. It is exhausting work to keep fighting for this building but knowing so many of you are in this with me makes it impossible to quit.

So many memories at this theater. My daughter did her first dance recital there. Please rethink this
we dont need another hotel. we need a place for our kids to perform and see real art in east county. keep ecpac open!!
ridiculous. the city council is totally out of touch with what the community actually wants.
EL CAJON NEEDS CULTURE NOT MORE ROOMS FOR TOURISTS. save the arts center!!!!
This place has history. Stop tearing down everything good in this city just for more hospitality industry garbage.
