This petition is for Transition Extreme skatepark in Aberdeen to allow 24" Jump Bikes in on the grounds that there is simply no logical reason for them to be allowed. They are happy to let younger less experianced kids ride around on BMX. This is unfair on the street mountain biking community (which is thriving when you look at it) because a however-many-thousand-square-foot complex can't cover a few extra inches of bikes, but they won't let in older kids that have park etiquette because of the size of the wheels It's a bit silly. The only differance is the size. other than that... the single speed gearing, rigid forks, one brakes etc. I Cannot see why they can't let them ride the park.

Leslie Simpson, United Kingdom2 years ago Comments: Honestly how is a 26" jump bike any different to riding in a skatepark than a bmx is in general terms? If anything Transition should be grateful for the extra business no?!
Matt, United Kingdom5 years ago Comments: I effectively have a 26" bmx. I dont ride a bmx because it's uncomfortable on my back. The only difference is size. It's stupid that we can't use the facilities!
korey muir, United Kingdom5 years ago Comments: its not fair that they dont let mtbs in to the park i went to the park and i rented a bmx and the hole time i was there i wanted to do this but i wanted to do it on my own bike my 26" hardtail i would do so much more in the park on my own bike and would have a better time there and i would want to go back more often
