I really thought this might just float around in the digital void for a while but seeing all these people jump on board is honestly making my head spin (in a good way). It feels like things are actually starting to move now which is just wild given how long that hill has been stressing me out every single morning.

As a parent of a new driver, my concern is so great that I will not allow my 16 year old to use this dangerous entrance/exit to drive to school. She must drive a mile out of the way to avoid this intersection.
I am very concerned about this intersection. The visibility is very poor and the potential of accidents occurring here is very high. I would like to see stop signs placed on Quivira in both directions in addition to the one already in place on 165th Street. Marcia Bergren
My daughter and son-in-law live in Mills Farms Meadows. We visit them regularly. We have to be very cautious at the entrance because of the blind spot just south of the intersection. We have several near misses. Changes need to be made before there is a serious accident.
I work in Blue Valley and ride my bike past this intersection at least once a week. There are no sidewalks anywhere in the area, and everytime I ride by this intersection, I rely on the good judgement of the drivers for my safety. With as many children and teenagers who use this intersection, it is crucial that the city improve the safety.
I have kids who go to TImber Creek Elementary and pulling back on to Quivera requires a second look every time. Northbound travelers are invisible for a crucial 2-3 seconds before reaching that intersection. It is only a matter of time in my opinion, until something serious happens at this intersection.
Dangerous intersection
The intersection is ready extremely dangerous as is. Even when slowing down when driving south to turn east on 165th and waiting for possible oncoming traffic, I've still seen and encountered personally near accidents from people driving northbound. What's even more conceding is right now this is only two lane traffic. What is going to happen when this gets expanded to 4 lanes and traffic is moving even faster and drivers will have to cross two lanes instead of one?

The intersection is very dangerous and is even more of an issue now that they changed the flow of the kids going into Timbercreek Elementary. The traffic is backing up on Quivira and adjstments need to be changed to the road and the flow of the traffic. Please address this issue soon.
