The City of Toronto and the Union for the Garbage Workers have failed to negotiate an end to the smelly strike. The Tax Paying Citizens of Toronto are being held hostage to the Excessive demands of the Union and the Financially Irresponsible City of Toronto. If the strike is not settled expeditiously, then the Citizens of Toronto demand that the Garbage Workers be fired and City of Toronto set up a tender process to allow for the Collection of Garbage by a Private Corporation as is done in Etobicoke. We the undersigned support this initiative and call upon the Mayor of the City of Toronto and the Premier of Ontario to take action. If this is not done, the Citizens of Toronto and Ontario will remember this Strike at Election time.
