We, the undersigned citizens of Barrie, Ontario oppose the construction of this plant on the basis that it will have a serious negative impact upon our overall quality of life and the future of our city. This facility, if allowed to proceed, will present an immediate and permanent safety hazard, substantially increase air pollution, noise, truck and rail traffic, reduce property values and burden city services. We demand that Barrie City Council reject this proposed plant as inappropriate for location within our city.
