This a petition to get steyning a skate park in the cricket field in time for summer 2012, because all the kids want something to do which is local,walk-able,free and will keep us amused for hours on end. The nearest skate park to steyning is in small dole which is a drive away, which means hassling your parents to take you there, and its wooden and in the shade so its always damp and potently dangerous and could cause a major incident when riding on the ramps. The cricket field is the perfect spot, it gets all the sun, its a huge field and there is loads of land to build on, so it doesn't rue-en anything or disturb anyone, and it would be a small part of the land so people can do what they wish while the skaters/scooters/bmxers will all be on the skatepark doing what they love! so please sign this petition to get steyning a skate park,all the children want it so please sign it, Many thanks.
