Soccer has the highest level of participation of any other sport in our community. It is a year round sport with approximately 1000 youth and 500 adult players registered in the towns of Dorchester and Roxbury. As a result of the increasing demand the current facility are now significantly overused, the pitch is in poor condition and the park in need of appropriate seating for the thousands of people that every weekend attend soccer matches. We, the undersigned, call on the city of Boston to build bleachers at the Ceylon Park located in 75 Ceylon Street, Dorchester, MA 02124.
