Regarding: Victor Viera Parole# 8126T Institution# EM 6033
Dear Mrs. Barkley:
We, the undersigned, urge the Board of Probation and Parole to reconsider its decision to grant the defendant's application for parole. We believe that the violent acts that the defendant committed in this case, together with the impact that his crime has had on the victim, her family, and the community, as well as his past criminal conduct, demonstrate the need for him to remain incarcerated. We ask that the defendant's application for parole be denied and that he be required to serve his full maximum sentence.
I have officially filed a formal request for a hearing with the Board to present these findings. Representatives from local oversight offices have begun requesting copies of the documentation attached to this petition. My next step involves drafting a detailed brief to submit directly to Mrs. Barkley.
March 15, 2013
The volume of support has reached a level that allows us to formally transition our efforts toward direct advocacy with the Board. I have scheduled a meeting with the parole oversight office to present these documentation files and argue for the denial of the application.

He belongs behind bars. The family has been through enough and he should serve every single day of his sentence.

Keep him inside. Guy is a menace and putting him back on these streets is just asking for more trouble.
