*** This is not a petition to ban camping - just a place for like-minded SLers to express discontent and to make their voices be heard ;) DEFINITION OF CAMPING IN SECOND LIFE: \"Being rewarded in-game money by objects which require the user to be INactive for as long as possible. The general payout is $3L per 10 minutes (Less than 5 cents in real life)\" FIVE REASONS WHY CAMPING SHOULD BE BOYCOTTED: 1. $3L for 10 minutes is not worth it. 2. This is not entertainment. 3. Less camping means less traffic for the places that give Second Life a bad name - clubs, casinos, public sex spots - and more traffic for the places that are truly quality, like live music venues, museums, parks, sandboxes, and etc. 4. Your electric bills will be lower and your computer will live a longer life. 5. Less coal will be burned to supply energy to your computer and this will be much better for the environment as well as for the future generations.
