We, the devoted viewers of Days of our Lives are asking that The Powers That Be (Ken Corday, Greg Meng, Sony, NBC) remove the current writing team and install a writing team that will treat the show, characters, storylines, history, and most importantly the fans the respect they deserve.
We have endured far too much of the continuous "Character Assassinations" over the last few years. Lately the writers have been one trick ponies with a continuous theme of blackmail.
We deserve a writing team that can drive the story, the characters, and build to the drama and romance. We deserve a team that will want us asking for more because the story is so well constructed, instead of scratching our heads trying to figure out if we missed something.
We want a new writing team (not another recycled failed team). If you delve into the past for the new team, skip the last decade and go straight to the mid 80s to early 90s. We want a new writing team, and the show and its devoted fans deserve it.

I agree, save Bo and bring back the magic of the 80's and 90's or loose decades long fans and tank Days forever!
Bring back Peter Reckell as Bo Brady and would love to see more of John, Marlena, Shane , Roman, and more of the older characters that made the show what it is today, Tired of same story lines and teeny boppers, I have watched DOOL since the 60's with my grandmother. Please give your longtime faithful fans a reason to keep watching.
i would love to see the new writing team and to see them do there jobs by bringing back the supercouples of yesterday which were bo and hope and kim and shane that is when the show was the show.
We need writers that will bring the romance and intrigue that once made DOOL great---there is now no character build up, no depth to the show, no showing of the strong family ties that make up this show...Use the vets you have with some meaningful storyline-they are vets for a reason. Give us a reason to care about the new characters that are continually being thrown at the viewers with no history that are immediately given a front burner storyline...Sorry but don't have any interest in that...Days continues to be 3 or 4th in viewers.
Please bring Peter Reckell as Bo Brady back to the show. I have been a long long time viewer of DOOL. Ever since I can remember watching tv as my Mother watched the show. I cut our vacation short just to watch Bo and Hope's wedding. You can bring Eugene and his wife back and they can team up with Bo and Hope as PI's and they would make an awesome funny story line....Thank you!

Amanda, I said the same thing about Bo and Hope, they should have been the pillar couple that Tom and Alice were. The 80's writing was the best!
