MTV X was a relief to rock music fans with access to this great channel. All rock (metal,alternative..etc) 24/7. It was a relief from the r+b/rap/bubblegum genres currently ruling the MTV airways. Then,suddenly, MTV X was no more, and MTV Jams took it\'s place. Rap, old and new school, 24/7...isn\'t that what MTV currently is now We will not settle for MTV2...it just doesn\'t compare. You shouldn\'t have to settle for less, fight for your music! The cause: BRING BACK MTV X!!! (of course!) When the amount of signatures reaches a relatively high number (hopefully in the hundreds of thousands) it will be sent to MTV with a respectful opening statement. So remember, there is strength in numbers! Make your voice heard and sign the \"I Want My MTV X\" petition! Thanks and rock on.

MTV X was the \"salvation\" of many rock music fans everywhere, and when it was replaced by MTV Jams, the fan was not just going to sit back and watch another MTV related rock program go the way of Headbanger\'s Ball.
