To Midway; DC; or whom it may concern, We, the fanbase of the MK franchise and DC universe combine in this petition to the plea with the makers of the upcoming video game title "Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe". For years the fans of Mortal Kombat have come together and enjoyed playing the game and engrossing ourselves in the realm that Ed Boon and Co. have created. Some of our parents may have even petitioned the game in its earlier years for its notorious violence, but the MK legacy has survived and lived on. Likewise can be said for the DC Universe. Fans of this universe have enjoyed a darker side of comic books and we have been there through the bloody death of Superman and the brutal back breaking of Batman and the countless other oh so violent yet so loved DC comic moments. DC, you have had your stories watered down before. Look at the Batman movies before Nolan took over. They stuck with a "family feel" and look how they turned out. We, as a community, are not bloodthirsty savages but we have come to expect a certain quality with DC and MKs "products" and taking away the grittiness, violence, and atmosphere of these "products" is an insult to both coorperation's loyal customer base. We, the undersigned, write this petition to plea with these companies to not betray their fans and allow this game to have a much needed "M" ESRB rating. This will benefit your customers, revive interest in this product, and increase your revenue significantly from this product.
