Seeing 250 colleagues sign this petition reminds me why I started this work in the first place. I spent years navigating these institutional barriers and it feels incredible to see so many of you join this push for a dedicated space within the profession.

The feedback from colleagues across the field has been incredibly encouraging as we work to carve out this much needed space for our research. We are currently preparing our formal application for the association council and your backing is providing exactly the momentum we need for those discussions.

im in. this is such an important area of study right now.
Yes! About time. Migration issues are way too big to keep getting sidelined at the annual meetings.
FINALLY. The APSA needs to catch up to the reality of global politics.
Totally on board with this. It would make networking so much easier for grad students focusing on these topics.
