We the 8th grade Student Body of Lovinggood Middle, petition the school to allow a different attire for the 8th Grade Formal, which is to take place on May 11th, 2007. Many parents have already purchased the attire to fit accustomed to the theme. Also, the boys would look very unformal with wearing tuxedo tops, khaki jeans & bow ties. To add to the subject of this particular petition, many students and parents have asked to allow limousines because of the price and demand of gas. Many parents end there day at about 9 o'clock and it would be very disturbing to have to wake up at 10 o'clock to take their daughter and/or son to the formal, so we ask of you to consider a transportation arrangement change.
