I am starting this petition to try to get a helmet law in affect for Iowa. This is something that needs to be done to save lives, afterall there are laws that make it mandatory for people who drive cars and trucks etc.,to wear seatbelts for their protection so why not people who ride motorcycles? That is the only protection they have its not like driving a car or truck that has a frame that surrounds you and seatbelts and airbags that help protect you when you are in an accident, the helmet is their only protection for their saftey. So please help me out on signing this petition to help save the lives of our friends and family.
