It wasn't just the songs, wonderful as they are, but the videos, the daft bits in between, the whole greater than the sum of the parts. I was involved in TV audience research at the time IBOR originally went out, and it was the only programme I awarded five stars.
Oh please oh please oh please give the Innes Book of Records the love and respect it deserves and allow those of us in North America to fully access Neil's unparalleled genius once again. Thanking you in advance...
loved Innes Book of Records. Cant understand why Neil has not been given more exposure on the BEEB, nor why we get endless repeats and yet no Innes Book of Records. I remember crying with laughter watching it. Please bring it back
Neil Innes is a talented, gentle genius whose originality and wit are lacking from British TV these days. TIBOR, the OGWT and Arena influenced hugely my life as a youth. Bring depth and oddness back! Oh, and show The Rutles on Beeb Four!
A wonderful series, original, inventive and funny - exactly what the BBC is for! Definitely deserves a re-airing, whether on BBC or elsewhere. Please either re-braodcast or sell the broadcast rights to another company which will actually air it!
We have been deprived of this brilliant series for far too long.
Please release all three series on DVD. The last time this series was shown was in 1997 on UK Gold.

BBC please can you make 0.000002% of the licence fee available to remaster this IBOR series to DVD. Does that make the budget of £221.43 seem over generous - of course I haven't factored in Management Expenses and Sundry Items and lunch expenses (excluding steak for lunch of course)?
