Apple are being particularly spiteful and punishing users for not upgrading to Lion by not allowing old Systems like Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to use iCloud. There was a rumour that this was going to be supported by 10.6.9 but after waiting 4 months it has come to this.

All users with Snow Leopard and ios devices are  no longer able to remote sync their Calendars and Addressbooks. In my case I cannot even get the iPhone to manually sync Addresses through iTunes.

I would also like to see if there is a class action for this as there is enough evidence to point to irregularities such as you can still SYNC a PC running older versions of Windows and their are already complex fixes to iCloud for people using 10.6.8  see:

But these are not guaranteed and could break whenever Apple changes the smallest component.

The number one reason allot of people are not moving to Lion 10.7 is that Apple have dropped support for Rosetta which kills off allot of older software that still works but has not been updated by the developers. This is particularly true in small businesses where they are running specialist developed software and the developers have not updated or tested their system on Lion. So there is even a Petition case for Rosetta in Lion.

Why is Lion Apples Vista failure.

1. They have already tried to divert attention by announcing Mountain Lion

2. The arrogance of Apples new operating system 10.7 also suggested that the whole world  currently uses a mouse incorrectly when scrolling and reverses the direction by default. This causes users to learn an action that is not the same when they go to work and use their PC. This is like a car manufacturer putting the gear box in upside down and having first on the bottom right LAUGHABLE ...
