President Clough: On behalf of the student body of Georgia Tech, I hope you will consider expanding the recycling program already in place for the benefit of all who step onto our campus. In response to this, I am attaching a list of names, from students, administration, and faculty alike, who are lending their voices to the cause of the environmental health of our community and our world. Our research has revealed that there have been considerable requests for additional recycling services on campus, but they have been placed on hold, some for over two years. While the services initially provided by the Office of Solid Waste Management and Recycling met the demand in the past, it has been unable to keep up with the campusâ

Kevin F. Davis, United States7 years ago Comments: I am greatly concerned about the number of students who are not aware that we recycle glass on campus. I think that we need to expand the recycling centers around campus to include containers for glass. It wouldn't be too much trouble to do and it would help a lot towards preserving our environment and reducing the number of inapporpriate materials in landfills. I know that in the past, glass recycling containers were placed all over campus with great success. I know we can do this again and maintain this service to students in the long run.
