Join together to preserve Greeley's legacy for future generations.

Greeley Park was given to the city of Nashua in 1896 by Joseph Thornton Greeley and designated as "a place to rest and enjoy nature."

In 1908, John Cotton donated $5000, which was matched by city funds, to change the Greeley Farm into a public park. The money was used to create a "stone and cement rest house, a fountain, a shallow pond, a gravel walk, and flower beds."

A wonderfully indestructible playground was built in the early 1900s and updated with an accessible tot lot. A beautiful sensory garden and a German howitzer from World War I are also located in the park.

Greeley Park hosts many citywide events. It is a favorite spot for prom and wedding photos with the wonderful historic stone house and flowers in the background. In the spring and summer there are plays, movies and music festivals. The park also features hiking trails, horseshoe pits, ball fields, tennis courts, a community gardening section, and a boat ramp.

Please join us to preserve the natural beauty and historic setting of Greeley Park for future generations.

..........That on a wild secluded scene impress
..........Thoughts of more deep seclusion; and connect
..........The landscape with the quiet of the sky.
..........The day is come when I again repose
..........Here, under this dark sycamore,"
