We are trying to get the attention of Facebook to either reactivate or memorialize MIKE STARR of ALICE in CHAINS personal account, someone reported it as fake, and we have provided necessary documents to prove the account is not fake, with no response. We all know how this can be terribly upsetting to the family, all the personal photos and condolences are what is so precious and cant be replaced or rewritten.

An actual FB page from our music era is so important for us to have. If Layne, Shannon and the rest could have been alive when FB was around you best believe we would be petitioning for theirs also to stay up. So plz don't take this one down

This is my friend's facebook before he died & his family is keeping it for memories and the like. I'm upset that Facebook is making this so hard on Mike's family, friends and fans! Please show some respect & reactivate Mikes Facebook!

It is incredibly cruel & unjust to cause further grief & loss to the Start family over the wrongful & malicious intent of one individual. The Starrs have suffered a great enough loss; please do not rob them of these precious, irreplaceable mementos as well.

Facebook should reactivate Mike's account just for his family's sake. So many personal pictures or even just simple words he put on their are treasures for his family. Most of what is put on personal pages are the only existence of the input on there. His family should be able to access it.

This is how Mike's friends keep in touch with is family and other fans/friends....his family maintains it. Facebook, it is an active account, meaning they update it and post on it quite frequently. Shame on you for shutting it down and ignoring the family's request to reverse your action.

Mike was my friend and I know this is not a fake page as he himself added me to his friendslist. Reinstate this page, it means a lot to those of us who knew him, it is a kind of virtual memorial site for us to still remember him
