We, the undersigned below, support keeping the Cyclorama in its current location in Grant Park. We want to recognize its 120+ years history with the community, the local context of scenes painted and the economic impact heritage tourism brings to SE Atlanta neighborhoods and businesses. We ask the Task Force show fiscal responsibility in determinging this matter. We want to ensure the best solutions for conserving the historic painting are pursued. We advocate using funds to retain, upgrade and modify the exhibit content and historic building at the current location rather than move it from the historical events events portrayed.
