Electronic Arts listened to us and released the patch that brings collection folders back to the game. I am sitting here organizing my catalog right now and it feels like home again. Thank you for signing and helping me get this essential feature restored.
We ask Electronic Arts to please consider reintroducing the in-game collection folders for The Sims 3 PC games.
Collection folders is a feature that I, among others, find to be an extremely helpful tool in day to day game play. This feature has sorely been missed in The Sims 3. The in-game collection folders in The Sims 2 helped me keep my object folders organized and tidy. They made it easy to find both native game objects as well as Store items and EA gift items. The ability to sort objects into themes or into sub-categories such as pillows or candles, kitchen items or bedroom décor items etc., make for better game play.
You can imagine my hopes for this feature being added to the Sims 3 Ambitions expansion; I was very disheartened to hear that EA had chosen not to include the in-game collection folders. I miss the feature and know with a certainty that it would enhance my gaming experience if it was brought back.

NB: It would be really nice if you would sign with your full name, it is just more convincing then Lena or mister no-name. Or at least don't sign it as "Anonymous" as is basicly a useless signature. If you wanna sign with your real name is of course totally up to you.
I find myself going back to look at my old Sims 2 saves just to remember how much easier it was to build with those folders. It is truly frustrating to sift through cluttered catalogs when I know a better system existed before. Your comments show that I am not the only one feeling this loss while trying to decorate a dream home.

I am watching our numbers climb toward the hundred mark and I know that hitting this milestone will show the team at Electronic Arts that we are serious. Please send this link to a few fellow players right now so we can cross that threshold before the day is out.
