The Board of County Commissioners has formally adopted the policy language we advocated for together. This outcome confirms that agricultural diversity remains a cornerstone of our public lands. I am grateful for the sustained commitment shown by this community throughout the process.

I want the Commissioners of Boulder County to know I support Open Space and to know that the coexistence of all types of agriculture on public land is important. I encourage the Boulder County Commissioners to support the cropland policy language approved and submitted by the Cropland Policy Advisory Committee.

Stop trying to push farmers off the land. They do so much for our community and we need to keep this going.

KEEP THE CROPLAND POLICY AS IS. Farmers here have been doing it right for years and they deserve our support.
