This petition to Change The Child Support Laws is to start our elected officials on the path of changing the out dated and gender bios child support laws " slavery" ...I believe that the support laws should be changed to reflect in the present times and also to make it a fair footing for both party's involved.. Its not a system of slavery for our gov't to use against us for their gain.... it is about the child not how much the other parent can take and screw of the other....this is the first of my now may actions in making this change..
This is for Fathers Mothers and Kids used and railroaded by a uncaring system.

This has been such a burden and hardship for not only my son but, as his mom it also affects me. He was ordered to pay 150.00 a week! Plus, his license was taken away. So in order for him to get a job or go to work he has to depend on me or his brother. I work and can not do this! He can not afford the payments. Half of that (Yes) I can understand but, not 600.00 a month!!! Please stop this unfair act against these young men!
revenue money is the driving force of child support agency the agency's needs to start making the other side pay for there services also they need to start putting the other sides income into question just like welfare not every body qualifies for it
It's past time for changes to be done.
I also read where a young man was shot and killed by police because he lost his job and was afraid of being arrested again for child support.... so when he ran from the cops they shot him in the back. :(

I really want to see some major change with these laws but don't know how. Back payments are ridiculous, unfair, and often a lie. If the payee is unemployed he/she should not be required to make payments nor should be paid later.
