I have been reading through your comments and the thoughtfulness you are putting into this conversation is deeply moving. It is truly humbling to realize how many people recognize that we need a better path forward than the one proposed in this bill. We need help not just more cells. Everyone deserves a second chance.
Mandatory minimums never work nobody ever looks at the data just trying to look tough for votes total joke
Waste of money to lock people away for years just for drug charges. Rehab works better than prison simple as that.
This just fills up jails with non violent offenders and taxpayers pay the bill for it. Fix the real problems instead.
WHY ARE WE COPYING THE AMERICANS THEY HAVE THE WORST RECIDIVISM RATES IN THE WORLD. STOP THIS NOW.

My brother got caught up in stuff when he was 19 and he is not a criminal. This bill is just heartless.
