Recap: Sagarika and Anurup Bhattacharya had their two little children TAKEN AWAY from them by Norweigian child services. The case has received a lot of international press (Mail Online, Times of India, NDTV.com, Al Arabyia, etc. - links to the articles are on the right hand side of this page), because the decision to take their little children away was based on cultural differences: Sagarika and Anurup cared for their little ones according to Indian culture - they fed their babies by hand and co-slept, which is normal in Indian society... and nothing wrong with that!!
On 25/01/12, it was announced that the DECISION has been made to give custody of the children to Anrup's brother. He is coming next week to collect children and then they will all return to India.

Cultural differences are not grounds for stealing children. Shame on the authorities for putting this family through hell.
so happy to hear the kids are back home where they belong. nobody should have to go thru this nightmare.
Complete overreach. The government needs to stay out of private family matters. Glad this is over for them.
Finally some good news. No baby should ever be taken away just because of how the parents feed or love them. Ridiculous.
UNBELIEVABLE what they went thru. Thank god they are together again.
