We, the Arkansas Renewable Energy Consumer Coalition, urge our Governor, State Legislature, and local officials to strongly support renewable energy legislation to promote clean sources of energy and energy efficiency measures in upcoming legislation and policy decisions. We believe this will benefit Arkansans in every way. Ways in which it will benefit us all is that we will experience greater energy security, less pollution of air, ground, and water, the pride of ownership of our own energy source for our homes and businesses, and the knowledge that we are conserving natural resources and preserving the quality of private property around us.

A coalition of organizations and individuals interested in supporting economic development of Arkansas by means of clean energy production for businesses and residences. The coalition consists of about a half dozen associations which are signing this petition to our Governor, Mike Beebe, and legislators. We are the Arkansas Renewable Energy Consumer Coalition.
The petition you sign will be used to encourage legislators to sponsor bills that will give incentives to the renewable energy industry and to individuals who want to produce RE for their own use and to provide energy back to the grid.
