All iPhones 4 and 4S, as well as Ipod Touch, which are bought with IOS 6.1.3, must now be upgraded to IOS 7, otherwise customers take the risk of SSL attack.
We want from Apple to allow us to have IOS 6.1.6 also for our iPhones 4 and 4S!
If we haven't upgraded to IOS 7 yet, we had our reasons for not doing it. Some dislike the new design, others fear lag in their devices. We don't want to be blackmailed in this way by Apple - to be forced to install IOS 7 at the threat of security risk!
Please, Apple fix this!

I feel there are still too many stability issues with IOS 7. Please let me update my 5th generation ipod touch to 6.1.6!
I would like to have this on my iPhone 5 as well. I hate iOS 7 and refuse to use it. I bought my phone as it was, because of how it was. I shouldn't be forced to deal with a gaping security hole.
Forcing IO7 is like forcing windows 8
I would like to use iOS 6.1.6 (not iOS 7) my iPod Touch currently has 6.0.1
There is a solution! But it requires Jailbreak - which means you will no longer be able to "erase all content and settings", because that will mess up the phone and force you to restore with iTunes, at which point you'd be upgraded to iOS7. Assuming you are okay with that caveat, here it is: http://www.iphonehacks.com/2014/02/fix-ssl-bug-without-upgrading-ios-7-0-6-ios-6-1-6.html If this petition ever gets answered, you can hopefully back up with iTunes, upgrade to iOS6.1.6 official, and get your "reset all settings and content" back.
