Dear Governor Scott, President Gardiner and Speaker Crisafulli,
We understand how difficult this time is for you and all of our Florida legislators. You are facing tough decisions and have many issues in front of you. As we approach special session, we ask that you please consider including the film, TV and digital media industry investment program as part of the call for the special session.
Our film, TV and digital media program has come so far this year due to the extensive efforts of our Board, 40+ Florida film commissions, industry partners, crew, business owners, associations, educators, film students and our champions Senator Detert and Representative Miller. We are dedicated to work with you on this important piece of legislation that affects more than 16,000 film & digital media production related companies, more than 100,000 Floridians working in the industry, and thousands of new graduates trying to secure their first job here in this great state.
Industry leaders have been committed to working with our legislators to develop a balanced program that will enhance the positive return on the state's investment, proving long term credibility and worth. We have heard our legislators loud and clear and as a result substantial changes were made to the program that will help create more jobs, encourage economic and tourism growth, establish better accountability benchmarks and ultimately strengthen and diversify Florida's economy now and into the future.
We remain confident that you understand this business and the number of jobs it affects. Please support Florida's Entertainment Industry now and into the future.

Governor Scott and his cronies are ignoring over 100,000 workers while our industry bleeds out. We are crawling toward 5,000 signatures and we need to hit that target right now to force these politicians to acknowledge the damage they are doing.

The momentum we have built proves that the industry will not be ignored by the Governor and leadership any longer. These officials continue to drag their feet while our livelihoods vanish and it is time they face the reality of this public pressure.

Losing the incentive has caused to many good professionals to move out of state, but for those of us who can't move due to family obligations…we're left to take significant pay cuts to get work as well as find ourselves without work for long durations.
I am a television and movie producer in Jacksonville. I've done movies on NBC and Fox, reality shows, and now am working on a theatrical movie. It breaks my heart not to be able to consider my home state for production. We need our incentives back!!!!
Please help support the many people that we employ. Not to mention that outside vendors that we give money to yearly. They consist of Hotels, car rental companies, Equipment vendors, Stage/ Studios, Set building companies, motorhomes, caterers, etc.
FILM AND TV productions are green industries, and they fuel tourism and real estate within the Florida economy. The majority of people who work in Film and TV are not "fat cats from Hollywood" but carpenters, make up artists and actors. Thank you
We want to wok in our home state again, not in hotel rooms in Louisianna and Georgia, please hear our plea! After 25 years in the industry working in Florida I now call other states my home 6-8 months of the year. I want to live at home. Thank you

Please help us bring more filming into Florida. Look at how many jobs were created in Georgia just the last few months. Over 25,000 jobs! Florida could be the same way if not better. So Governor Scott, please help us make a difference like you have been telling us your going to.

As a film educator, I have had many discussions with students who wish there were more film opportunities here in the Sunshine State. Keep our Florida students working here in the state by approving tax incentives which will bring more films to Florida!
