Petro-Canada in its infinite wisdom to move towards progress wants to demolish a 154 year old field-stone house, probably built by Loyalists. That\'s correct this structure was built in 1853! So says the keystone engraving. Those of you have visited our home have seen the stone house. We ask for your help in securing this house from demolition and save it from progress, but save it for Heritage\'s sake. August 29th is the date that Petro-Canada will begin scheduling for the demolition of this house. If you are not familiar with this house it is located just south of the \'old\' Petro-Pass on Summerstown Road, Ontario. Also known as County Road 27. PLEASE STOP LARGE CORPORATION FROM DESTROYING OUR HISTORY...STAND WITH US AND SIGN.

Drove past this place a thousand times. Its part of what makes our town look like a home and not just another highway strip. STOP THE DEMOLITION.

This is just shameful. We keep knocking down everything with any real character just to build some ugly station. Leave the history alone for once.
