We are currently threatened with the loss of zumba classes at Jarrett Middle School due to some noise complaints from a few. The current zumba classes provide excersize and a gathering place for hundreds of Palolo residents. The loss of this resource would be detrimental to the health and well being of the community. These classes are not limited to a certain demographic - the students age range from toddlers to kupuna. Everyone who experiences Chelsey's zumba classes leave feeling better about themselves and their community. Please support us in asking Jarrett Middle School and Representative Calvin Say's office to strongly consider the benefits of this community resource and allow us to remain in Palolo. It is our neighborhood as well and we would like to be able to excersize and have fun in our own community and not have to leave because of the voices of a few. Mahalo
