Malheureusement, en France, tant qu’il y aura des juges d’application des peines, les peines prononcées contre ceux qui tuent les femmes sont divisé par deux ou trois par ce juge après incarcération. En France, les gens savent que les peines prononcées ne sont quasiment jamais complètement exécuté et qu’ils peuvent sortir au car ou à la moitié de leur peine…. Ils n’ont donc pas peur de prendre un gros risque en tuant leur compagne.

As a Zontian, I am deeply committed to, and grateful for, the courage and dedication of women worldwide who have survived violence at the hands of partners, ex-partners, or others. We need not only a political and legal framework to curb the global rise in violence against women and girls, but also measures to prevent it in the first place. These measures must be implemented swiftly and consistently.
