The City of Jackson, Missouri Zoning Ordinances serve to classify, regulate, and restrict the locations of trade industries and residences and the location of buildings designed for specific uses.

We, Broadridge Drive residents, along with residents of surrounding neighborhoods and the citizens of Jackson (incorporated herein by petition), request that the Jackson, MO Code of Ordinances Sec. 65-10.- O-1 Professional Office District Regulations be amended to remove the following three use regulations from the list of acceptable purposes delineated under Professional Office zoning:

f. Condominiums

g. Multiple-family dwellings

h. Rooming, boarding, or lodging houses

The twenty-four (24) other itemized use regulations would remain unaltered.

The city officials in Jackson have been ignoring us for too long but this surge in support proves they cannot sweep our property rights under the rug anymore. We have the momentum to force them to amend these zoning codes and protect our neighborhood from their reckless planning.

The last thing we need in Jackson, let alone on that side of town is a large apartment complex.
