Storage units are not consistent with residential zoning. While they serve a purpose for some, they are not a desireable addition to a residential setting for most. A commercial venture should be located near other commercial property. This is not an urban "Mixed Use" development combining residential and commercial. This is dropping an unsightly development in a rural residential setting. Consider the property values of the surrounding residents. To the Planning or Zoning Commission: Would you want this next to your house?

Please do not allow this zoning change as it is not consistent with a residential neighborhood.

Commercial venture in a residential area is not desirable.

We have many facilities like this that are in zone appropriate locations. Not needed in this location.

This is not an appropriate spot for this. This is a residential area and should be kept that way. Also, the traffic on Leonards is already an issue and this would create more congestion. Please do not approve this.

Completely wrong for this area. This is residential not commercial. There has been no new commercial development here in decades. We needed better township expansion planning. This shouldn't even be a consideration.

Has anyone contacted the residents that live on Leonards Point, across the road from the property or Jones farm?

I do worry about the theft and other crime that this could possibly bring to our kid friendly neighborhood, especially being directly next to the park.

I don't agree with using these lots for the use of storage units for many reasons. It would potentially devalue the price of homes in the area. Create activity not congruent with the neighborhood and more.

I agree that this would decrease property value and be unsightly in our neighborhood. This is a terrible idea.

Wonderful builders and great plan, however I would rather see houses with children fill the lot thus growing the community and school tax revenue. Additionally, storage units statistically attract burglary and other crime. Coincidentally, 2 lots with projected new houses on our street are now up for sale, and there is no longer a hint of any more new homes with growing families on Nelson Road.

I can not imagine a worse use for this land. This is a residential area, bordering a park. I'm not sure one could prove a need for additional storage units in our township; but, if they could it would not be in this location.

There are lots of other places in the area that would be much more appropriate for this type of development.
