(I'll make it as short as I can) Why a Zombiegame? Simply due to the fact that I love zombies and theres is no decent Zombiegame out there. Granted there is DEAD RISING but it is SO over the top that i rate it as comedy. Don't mention LEFT FOR DEAD because that game has no zombies. It has "rage infected humans" (as in 28 "Days Later") and Mutants (smoker, tank, etc...). There simply is no real good Zombiegame out there that handles the topic of a global zombie apocalypse in a serious way and with quality. And i mean the classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD / DAWN OF THE DEAD / DAY OF THE DEAD zombie. Why Rockstar Games? Rockstar Games has proven that they are the kings of "Open World"-games. With their GTA-Series and now RED DEAD REDEMPTION they have delivered THE most comprehensive games available today. The amount of detail they put into their gameworlds and the quality of their stories is unreached if you ask me (when it comes to that sort of games). Also with their recent quote about parents who buy Rockstar Games for their kids, Rockstar has shown that they have the perfect mentality to pull off a game with such a topic. After the "Hot Coffee"-Incident they havent really backed down. If you listen closely to some of the dialogues in RED DEAD REDEMPTION (and that one particual cutscene featuring a mexican official and a lady...) you know they don't seem to be afraid to go even further. PS: quick greetings to David for starting this idead by saying "They should do one in a Zombie apocalypse!" after playing Red Dead for 3 days straight.
