Maya is relentless in her efforts to seduce those who are trying to escape her clutches... I offer prayers for all my fallen brothers and sisters that we may with LORD KRISHNA'S merciful help truly be our brothers keeper.. HARE KRISHNA!!!

One thing I don't understand is why people are talking as if ISKCON is the government or sole issuer of law for devotees... I mean this is a religious movement as far as I understand, and not a political state... Why can't the parents go to the court in cases of crimes being committed? If someone commits child abuse while in the position of spiritual teacher or leader, he commits a bigger crime, and the holy office, far from giving him any immunity, only condemns him more.

I'm fortunate to have experienced some of the bliss of a devotee life, even though I'm not formally one. Child molestation and abuse are utterly incompatible with the goal of Krishna Consciousness, which is to allow devotion to the Lord Krishna to purify our minds and souls so that we can be reunited with Him who's our origin... but that cannot be done in a environment where pollution and violence is tolerated.

I applaude the bravery of those involved in this campaign and condem the cowardly measures and practices currently in place. We MUST protect our children.

Zero tolerance! As Srila Prabhupada said these are not ordinary children, they are Vaikuntha Children and our duty is to love, nurture and protect them. If we are failing to to do so, its causing them a trauma for life or many lives. Child protection starts at you are making sure that the children are safe if we cannot guarantee that than we are, ourselves abusing them. Hare Krishna.

Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita man should protect older people, women, children, brahmana and cow. What to say more? Why would devotees who chant Hare Krishna do harsh things? We can't act like Duryodhana. Kali Yuga is him. But we of all people mustn't act like him.

Silence means consent. Anyone who knows what's happened, but says and does nothing is as culpable at the perpetrators. I completely condemn the sub-human child abusers within the Krishna Movement and all who support them.
