This is a no-brainer ... children's safety should be the most important thing here and with the cars driving as fast as they do in that area, something MUST be done. It really isn't a lot to ask.

This is a major safety issue. Crossing facilities must be put in olace to enable children to cross here. I am equally concerned with childern crossing 1st avenue.

On my visit to collect friend's child last week, car drove far too fast in through the gates. Couldn't have stopped or taken avoiding action if necessary. Presumably driven by a parent or adult collecting child.

The proposed plans for redevelopment, particularly the traffic control, of the meriden estate should also be revised. Unless it has changed since i last understood it.......i do not feel the volume of traffic and padestrians will be adequately provided for. Students of Berrygrove frequently use this route as does a high volume of commuting motorists.......i hope the final construction will allow a safe route for the community as a whole.

I believe that a zebra crossing would make it safer for children to cross over to the school as at present although cars are supposed to let pedestrians cross on the red zone, very few do making to extremely dangerous
