Z-47 is Not Good for Cobb County, the Community or the Chattahoochee

Please review the effect on the environment, the surrounding noise, traffic and disruption of the existing landscaping. Building so close to the street takes away a buffer of trees, grass and too many paved areas. What is nice about this area is the green space. We have city living without the city, it’s what sets us apart from Buckhead, let’s keep it that way. As proposed, I do not accept the plan.

Not interested in more traffic and less trees!

Powers Ferry is a traffic nightmare already. Please no more apartments.

I don’t think another apartment building will do any good to this area,beside bring more traffic which it is already congested from the braves stadium.

Mature trees must not be razed to make way for any high density project with a potential of drainage running into the river. Owner occupied homes add value to a community and provide the kind of residents who will contribute to the quality of life and education here; building more rental units is counter to these objectives and high density will only increase traffic issues.

We can do better than this! We are called the City of Trees for a reason. The negative impact to our environment will be devastating.

Poor use of the land. Bad for our environment. Not at all what Tom Cousins had in mind when he developed Wildwood.

I strongly appose this project.

I will be attending the meeting on Aug 21 to oppose the redevelopment of Z-47 2018.

Let's take our time to get the right project (s), that will benefit the community and the environment, into this valuable, prime space. A rush to accept a poorly thought out plan could harm the community and the Chattahoochee River for decades.. Just

Not a good use of space, needing more long term residents vs apartments. The county needs to get tough on zoning and correct the trend to more owner occupied housing/retail space that benefits the community

There has to be a better way to redevelop this land. Cobb County, please stop grabbing every available development dollar just to make up for the shortfalls caused by those greedy individuals who brought us SunTrust Park.

The nearby community it’s full of apartment buildings. We do not need anymore. That location would be perfect for new businesses that support the surrounding community like a grocery store (Trader Joe’s or Sprouts/ Whole Foods) or new restaurants and service businesses. Putting another apartment complex there is like putting 20 gas stations in a row, it’s not practical.
