Our traffic is ungodly now! Most of the time it is a struggle to get out of my subdivision onto Barrett Pkwy. Please...no more growth! Let us enjoy the green space we have left!

As we work to preserve the little green space we have left - this is not the time to create more density in developments.

Traffic, removal of trees, density and impact on infrastructure are some concerns.
There appears to be some underhanded games going with multiple plan submissions over the period of two years. TRANSPARENCY, TRANSPARENCY, TRANSPARENCY !!!

Please deny this zoning. The traffic on Dallas Highway is already congested for much of the day and a subdivision this size will make it worse.

This subdivision will back up to my subdivision. However, the issue is traffic and density. While I believe we need more tax paying individuals - versus the current trend of approving senior living/assisted living communities - the current infrastructure does not support almost 200 additional homes and the traffic that comes with that. Fix the current infrastructure first so it can even handle the current traffic.

Traffic congestion during normal morning and afternoon commute times is already a problem. The main roadway (Dallas Highway/120) located directly outside of the proposed development is a particular area of concern traveling East in the mornings and west during afternoons at the John Ward intersection, with back ups extending more than a mile, causing an increase accidents.
When considering rezoning to make this area MORE densely populated, please also consider the additional costs facing the County associated with the corresponding inevitable roadway expansion, local law enforcement and emergency response personnel time devoted to increased accident response, mitigating exacerbated flooding and drainage issues and the threat of crowding issues in the local schools.
I'm certainly not opposed to development, but I believe it should be done in a responsible manner, to preserve and protect our quality of life in West Cobb. We are simply asking that the developers build a community comparable (or better) than those immediately around it, at the density level that was previously approved for this parcel.

Please deny this proposal. West Cobb is becoming East Cobb with all of this over development.

West Cobb is all ready becoming overcrowded. We moved over in West Cobb to stay out of the overcrowding of East Cobb.
