Two-time Olympic gold medalist in men's singles figure skating, Yuzuru Hanyu, initially had aspirations of becoming a professional baseball player as a young boy. Let's help make this dream a reality by persuading the Toronto Blue Jays to invite Yuzuru to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a game at Rogers Centre in Toronto!

Yuzuru moved to Toronto from his home in Japan in 2012 to begin training with Brian Orser, a Canadian former competitive figure skater and two-time Olympic medalist himself. Inviting Yuzuru to throw the first pitch at a Toronto Blue Jays game would show the power of sports to cross international boundaries, to bring different cultures together, and to promote a sense of community.
