The Yuma city council is in the process of deliberating on a study, from the Economist Newspaper, which by the way is based in the U.K, Africa and the Middle East with an office in New York.

In a three minute search of the Internet I found enough to want me to create this petition.

The Yuma Sun fails to report the agenda of Economist. It aims according to a reputable website "to take part in a severe contest between intelligence, which presses forward, and an unworthy, timid ignorance obstructing our progress"(1)

So YOU are too stupid and they the Intelligent should rule.

The Economist supports free trade, globalisation(One World Government), and free immigration. It has been described as neo-liberal.(2)

It is reported that “The Economist to be almost exclusively a political magazine - mainly because of the ratio of political content to economic content - but also because the economic issues they do cover are often looked at from a political aspect” (3)

Yuma hosts 3 Colleges and enough smart people that can figure out our own problems. Big Corporations like “Outback” “Mimi’s Cafe” and on and on. Do not understand the diversity of the Yuma economy.
