Copyright laws have certainly gotten out of hand, recently there have been numerous court lawsuit threats across Youtube. Even simple posters who trigger an small instance of a song or have created their own songs (which later people take and copyright themselves in order to pull a lawsuit.) The power that is given through copyright is abused and intentionally misused in order to oppress the Youtube community and turn a profit. It has gone too far and copyright laws simply should not have a place on Youtube let alone the internet. Please help in assisting the progress of this petition so that we could get the attention of Youtube and allow our rights to not fear prosecution or any harm to our physical presence outside of the internet.
