I am on a mission to get the Government to change the Youth Allowance Criteria. The Parental Means Test is ridiculous. If we are legally able to vote at 18...why are we still classified as "dependents" and based on our parents income? I am 23, have worked and have been on previous centrelink payments before...but now they will cut me off because my Dad earns too much.Obviously, I am not wanting them to make it easy for people to bludge...just to help those a bit more. I am wanting to get a bunch of signatures to go along with a letter I am writing to Julia Gillard.
