This is entirely unfair to young lawyers!!! Indeed it is time we make the older lawyers of the NBA realise that the young Lawyers are the future and bedrock of the profession and cant be stiffled out!!!

This is absurd as it is inconsistent with the prevailing harsh realities facing the young lawyers. The truth is that, it will not be surprising that 20% of attendees may not even receive the much stated tablet as promised by the NBA.

Please the association should consider the fact that we dont get much briefs and majority of the principals dont pay.the country is in a bad shape we cant pay such an amount.please consider

Last two years, I didn't get course materials (not even a tag) after so much stress and effort for days. I complained to so many people including my branch Chairman but there was no remedy. I watched with utmost dismay where non - lawyers who never paid a dime and a few selfish lawyers go home with so many course materials. This alone made my heart bleed so redly as it meant "robbing Peter to pay Paul".
Nothing will ever encourage me to pay for such fruitless and frugal waste of time, energy and assembly of liars not to talk of a nicked rate.
Its high time we set good examples and brace up with better activities that are human capacity building oriented, pragmatic and rewarding other than wasteful ventures like the AGC.
There is a saying that "he whose house is on fire, need not Purdue rats"

It is unfair to ask young lawyer to pay this huge sum of money for conference registration only. What happens to transportation and accommodation, considering the location of the conference. This is nothing but extortion.

This is not necessary. People are complaining about recession but the NBA does not want to care about same. If the conference cannot hold this year lets forget about it. Porthacourt conference was not worth 8000 for me and you are even increasing it. If you are asking us to pay such amount of money then you must tell us what you halve been doing with our practicing fees. Very funny people. This is mockery
